I used manual settings and put the chassis and cpu fan at 60% duty cycle. Could you refresh me real quick on how to do it ? thanks man Enter the BIOS Setup Utility according to the computer manufacturer’s instructions. I've not posted pictures in such a long time I forgot how. Q-Fan is disabled by default, so you must enable it to get its benefits. Shouldn't it make it only pretty much at higher rpms ? It either does it at lower rpms or higher. What's odd is that the fan makes that's particular annoying sound at diff rpms seems like when the cpu fan runs at the average 1200-1300 rpm it don't do it. ![]() How many mm is the fan from intel do you think it is ? 80mm maybe ? Just something that attaches to mobo like the intel heatsink/fan does and that it's quiet. Nothing special with no extra mounting gear. I think I'm going to just get a new heatsink/fan for cpu. Fan xpert still shows same fan speeds no matter what I do in bios. No matter what I change in the bios for cpu fan or fan chassis it makes no diff. ![]()
